When is the Sherwood Open?

The Sherwood operates 7 days a week, 364 days a year, only being closed on Christmas Day (December 25). Our operating hours are as follows:

• Sunday - Thursday: 6:00 am - 10:00 pm
• Friday - Saturday: 6:00 am - 11:00 pm

When Was the Sherwood Built?

The Sherwood was built in 1961, by Mr. Ernest Duce. You can find more information about the History of the Sherwood on our Origins & History page.

Do I need a Reservation?

No on standard business days (Sunday to Saturday excluding Holidays) you do not need a reservation. However, on the busier holidays (New Years day, Mothers day, Fathers Day, Easter Weekend) we do reccomend that you make a reservation.

Does the Sherwood give out Donations?

Yes the Sherwood gives out donations in the form of gift certifcates. The amount of the donation(s) is at the discretion of the management. For more information please call us: 519-756-5484.

Can I buy Gift Certificates to the Sherwood?

Yes you can buy gift certificates to the Sherwood. Simply ask a server the next time your in and they will gladly help you get the exact amount you would like. For more information please call us: 519-756-5484.

How much does a Banquet cost at the Sherwood?

Banquet prices vary from event to event depending on the number of guests, meal selection, setup, and numerous other items. The easiest way to find out what your event would cost is to request a quote from our Banquet Manager, Mary Myers: 519-756-5484.

Is there Parking?

Yes, the Sherwood has ample parking spaces for both our Dining Room and Banquet Room. We have even made an extra parking lot across the street behind the service station, that is perfect for larger vehicles, such as Buses, RV's, and Trailers.
