The Nottingham Room

The "Nottingham Room" is a large and versatile banquet hall holding functions for up to 150 people. From lavish Weddings to Boardroom style lunches, the Nottingham room is the ideal setting for almost any event. Available from Monday to Saturday (Sundays are reserved for the Sherwood's Brunch and Smorgasbord), the Nottingham room can be set up in numerous different ways depending on your event and meal choice.

Since the Sherwoods kitchen is directly off the hall, we are able to cater to your every need. Whether you choose a standard menu from our banquet menus, have one of our staff customize a menu for you, or even want to order off the Restaurant Menu, you'll be sure to enjoy a great meal. With bold round and rectangular tables at your disposal, the style of service is completely up to you.

For those events that involve dancing, there is a reasonably large hardwood section in the middle of the room.

Completely equipped for business meetings, there is complete audio support, flip charts, overhead projectors, Television with VCR, and a 10' pull down screen. The Nottingham is available for your event from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m., in three different time bookings. The following table outlines the Nottingham Room's Rental Hours.

The Sherwood's early start time makes the Nottingham ideal for power breakfasts and other business affairs. However, due to time constraints somedays, the Nottingham Room must be vacated by end of the blocked time, or an additional charge may be incurred. Please note that room rental is subject to G.S.T..

There are very few rules or restrictions on your use of the Nottingham room. If your event is a wedding, we request that you abstain from the use of confetti or rice as part of your festivities. Also, your guests should park in the parking lot immediately behind (South of) the Sherwood.

Decorations supplied by yourself can be put up by Sherwood staff if there is enough advance notice.

Rental Fees are negotiable, and are quoted based on the size and time of the event.
