Menu Selection & Pricing

With over 47 years of experience in hospitality services, and more than 26 years experience with Banquets and Catering, its no wonder our collection of menus is so vast.

In our Catering Food Services section you will find a wide variety of menus for almost any occasion. However, if you would like something different than the menus presented to you, our catering staff would be more than happy to customize a menu to suit your needs.

All of the Sherwood's Banquet menus are priced based on parties of 25 or more. For functions under 25, there will be a 20% price increase. The Sherwood's Banquet menus have also been cash discounted.

All prices quoted are subject to change.

China, Linen & Place Settings

For all Banquets and Caterings the Sherwood charges a minimum $50.00 setup fee for all China, Linen and Place Setting. For dinner meals this setup fee includes:

• White Tablecloths for all tables
• Water Glasses
• 8” White Dinner Plates
• 6” White Side Plates
• Stainless Steel Cutlery
• White Linen Napkins

Please note that the above setup will vary for Breakfasts, Lunches and Late Night meals. A disposable service with paper plates, plastic cutlery and paper serviettes, can be substituted for most meals.

Colour tablecloths, or different china place settings can be arranged, with an additional charge at the rental cost from the supplier.

Room Rental

Our Nottingham room has a dining capacity of 150 people, and is booked out daily for three (3) different time periods. Inclusive with our Nottingham room rental is the setup of required tables and chairs. For your convenience we have both round and long tables. The following outlines the hours in which our Nottingham room is available and the cost of the room rental with a meal, which is negotiable at time of booking.

Our Nottingham Room must be vacated by end of the blocked time, or an additional charge may be incurred. Please note that room rental is subject to G.S.T..

Audio & Visual

Need a microphone? No problem! The Sherwood has microphone and podium setup, available upon request. The following is a short list of some of the Audio and Visual equipment that the Sherwood has available:

• Piano
• TV & VCR
• Ambient Music
• Flip Chart & Paper

Bar Services

As a fully licensed caterer we would be happy to provide you with either a host bar or cash bar service for your function. Please note for Cash and Host Bars there is a $15.00/hour Bartender Fee.

Payments & Deposits

As policy the Sherwood requires a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 to $500.00 at the time of booking. For all events, fifty percent (50%) of the estimated bill is due 7 days prior to the event, with the balance due at the end of the event by cash or cheque. Our banquet menu pricing is based on a cash payment method. Credit card payments may be arranged with a small service charge.

Special payment plans may be arranged upon request at the discretion of the Sherwood Restaurant & Catering and its Management.

Guaranteed Numbers

You must notify us with the guaranteed number of guests that will be attending your function no later than 48 hours prior to the event.

For charges based on the number of guests, you will be charged for either the guaranteed number, or the actual number of guests, which ever is greater.
