Weekend Buffets
If one thing is true about Robin Hood and his merry men, it is that they ate well, and loved to gather around food and drink. In this tradition, the Sherwood regularly offers All-You-Can-Eat weekend buffets, that have been known to entice customers from many different parts of southern Ontario.
On Friday and Saturday evenings the Sherwood offers a Perch, Pickeral and Roast Beef buffet in the main dining room. Trimmed with the chef's choice of potatoes, vegetables and other special dishes, this buffet has something for everyone, including some sweets for dessert.
On Sunday's the Nottingham room is devoted to the Sherwood's famous 'Sunday Brunch' buffet between 10:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. for only $14.95 (seniors $12.95; children under 12, $0.70 per year. A child of ten would eat for $7.00). Diners can choose from scrambled eggs, eggs benedict, bacon, sausage, home baked muffins, and many other nourishing items of our chef's choice.
Later on Sunday, there is also a Sunday Roast Beef Smorgasbord between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. This is a "soup to nuts" spread for only $16.95 (seniors $14.95; children under 12, $0.80 per year. A child of 10 would eat for $8.00). Diners may select from roast top sirloin of beef, baked ham, an extensive salad bar, home baked desserts and many other tasty items from our chef's recipes.
